🎭 Everyone picks a character

One player can host a lobby, everyone else joins with the IP Address using local hosting Claim a character each, and you only record your lines.

When the last person finishes, the game mixes everyone into one video and the whole room watches it together, at the same time. Then hit Record again to fix the line you fluffed, or New scene and go around again.

Nobody needs to be in the same room. Nobody needs the same computer  Windows, Mac and Linux players can share one game obby.

✂️ Make your own clips (Beta)

if you have something you want to dub just drop any video into the Clip Maker, mark where each line starts and ends you name the characters, and it builds you a playable scene.

It even lifts the original voices out of the soundtrack, so the music and sound effects keep playing underneath yours instead of cutting to silence.

🔊 Audio Settings

• Noise suppression that learns your room. The fan the PC hum it listens for two seconds, then subtracts exactly that instead of guessing. Up to 42 dB gone.
• Voice matching so the loud friend and the quiet friend come out level in the final video.
• A scope showing the original line above and your take below, on the same timeline, so you can see whether you came in early.
• Real audio settings — mic and speaker choice, input gain, headphone monitoring, a noise gate, and a count-in.

📼 Everything stays yours

Finished dubs export as ordinary MP4 files. Send them, post them or keep them. No account, no sign-in, and no internet needed to play,

WE DONT SAVE, USE OR SELL YOUR DATA TO ANY THIRD PARTY, YOUR DATA IS COMPLETELY LOCAL ON YOUR PC

⚠️ Where to get packs to dub before you download

Dub House ships with no scenes. Bring your own clips and build them in the Clip Maker 

⬆️ Dub House reads the same folder layout that Choicer Voicer packs use, so packs you already have work here unchanged  captions, timestamps, characters and all. Drop the folder into your scenes folder, or use Voice Packs → Import pack folder. ⬆️

Dub House is an independent project and is not affiliated with endorsed by or connected to to any other makers. Packs are not included — this only describes file compatibility.

The app is not code-signed, so your system warns you once:

• Windows — "Windows protected your PC" → More info → Run anyway.
• Mac — right-click the app and choose Open the first time. Double-clicking shows an error instead.
• Linux — chmod +x the AppImage, then run it.

🌐 Playing over the internet

 The host reads out the 192.168.x.x address the game shows. 
Everyone joins the same free VPN (Radmin, Tailscale or Hamachi) and the host reads out that address instead.

Whoever hosts has to allows the firewall prompt once. Guests missing the host's scene get a Download this pack from the host button, so only the host has to import the scene.
